In the fashion of James White of Singalnoise, I'm creating a series of retro-futuristic posters for the Oppo Community/Blipshift desgins. Suggestions appreciated.

Poster number one is inspired by the Turbo logo from the late 80s Volvos..

It's supposed to have a tron-like grid in the background. This is a draft.

What car inspired motifs, logos, parts, or even outlines should I incorporate?

I really like the Volvo Turbo theme, but a different palette would be neat (less pink). Maybe one with a stronger '80s flair with many Turbo outlines leading up to one big, solid one in a pyramid or upside-down pyramid shape. Also one with the all-caps Turbo logo from the later cars (like mine, hehe). A red version would be cool (goes with the Redblock) and maybe one using Sweden's blue and yellow from their flag somehow.

Wow, gorgeous. Glad to see not every commercial from that era was just ridiculous synths and overblown claims about digital dashboards. Stumbled upon this one recently for the Chrysler Laser, which I had never heard of before. Favorite quote is: "Make it handle: give it front wheel drive and nitrogen shocks. We did."
