I just lived this, this weekend, i met a girl cousin's boyfriend, the car talk was going good, he actually knew things like the average oppo guy. Then he tells me a story of one time when he lend his jacket to a girl and they were standing on a slowly moving pickup bed the driver sped up a bit and the girl fell. He told me he was very upset about his jacket scratched by the asphalt. And that he didn't care a dime about the girl. He took the jacket from her and went pissed off. I think he was very stupid and im telling my cousin that he is not a good choice.

It is a level of sensitivity. I have experienced and seen hate in a way you cannot fathom. Like, children being shot dead on the river sort of shit. Even so, I feel the reactions in Ferguson are not pure or of any honest progression like others in the past. Both sides of the matter in fact equally sad. I feel those dudes were feeling something similar being bombarded by all the hype, yes hype (mamadas is a better word) and threw in some obvious tasteless jokes as 99.99% people do on occasion to turn the moods around. Sensitivity is not for me or anyone to decide for you. I respect your stand point but find your anger and reason to leave something that has such a variable for anyone on a day to day basis. I'm honestly trying to put this in a light so that maybe you can see it the way I do and stay but respect your choice either way. That sort of comprehension is what Clay saw in me being the most OPPO thing ever. Please don't leave buddy

Although, I am glad to see the maturity of the vast majority of Oppos here :)

It goes without saying, I don't like the attitude of said Oppo, and I don't have to. I choose to not get involved/deal with that him or his attitude.

That OppositeTalk facebook page has no affiliation with Oppositelock itself, or with Gawker or Jalopnik. It is not run by the Oppo mods and operates under a different set of standards.

There are Oppo commenters we might recognize who are also following that page and participating in those dicussions, I am sure, but that is where the relationship ends.

I want to make sure that people are not equating "them" with "us" because there's no managerial connection between the two groups.
