Oh yeahhh...I think one of these would be such a cool badass cruiser if turbocharged to 500hp or so. Keep it quiet and stock looking and haul major ass. Add radar detector and laser jammer where legal!

I know I want one. Saw one for sale just like it but red (in MN, my jaw just about fell off when I saw it on the lot). Thought better of it though. I wanted something that would need less maintenance, so I have a Silverado.

None of them are mine, although I do have one not too dissimilar to the first. And those scissor doors on the B5 - classy!

Since I'm talking about Volkswagen, I used to have basically this exact car. It was a great little machine.

Yep, exactly like this one. Red, 4sp manual, 4 cylinders, slow as hell, but comfortable enough and simple. A pleasurable little car.
