I want a Honda Vamos Hobio Travel Dog, just so I can say I drive a Honda Vamos Hobio Travel Dog.

What is it with the Japanese and their absurdly long car names?

kinda reminds me of a pug

Happy Van is delighted to have you inside it.

It's mostly a Toyota thing, but it bleeds over into other companies.

Quick! Someone graft a doge face on it and call it the travel doge!

I'm pretty sure Subaru holds that crown.

It's probably just one or two characters in Japanese text?
![]() 11/24/2014 at 22:01 |

True. I wonder why their badges are in English, or at least normal letters?

Well, this one's not completely absurdly long, the Travel Dog version is literally a dog friendly version.
If I recall properly, it's not the only dog friendly version of a Honda product they've offered, either. Didn't they have a dog friendly version of the Element as well?

Don't you mean Honda Vamos Hobio Turbo Travel Dog?

They literally dedicated a model to dog friendliness? I could see maybe an option, but actually naming it?

Cadillac/Chevy isn't exempt either, now that I think about it. Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special Brougham.

Torch has you on this one:

Also, Torch talked to Shiro Nakamura, which is badass!

Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am WS6 Firehawk. Don't know if that's actually real, but it sounds right.

I want a Honda Vamos, full stop. I work in logistics, wish we could have tiny vans.

that's cool!

Well, technically it was the Honda Element w/ Dog Friendly Package, but it did have it's own badge that identified it as a Dog Friendly model.

Just so you know, whatever it is that that actually translates into, it looks like Spanish for the Honda "Let's go hobo!" Travel Dog.

It has a 660cc engine. The turbo version makes a whole 65 PS (64 hp). There's something strangely appealing about that!

According to Wikipedia, the Vamos in the name is intentionally Spanish. So, yeah, it's a little "go" van.
The Hobio part, I dunno.

It's a good name since the story is they're for transporting dogs. I would be all over the camper version for sure
