Unfortunately the Maxima was sold before I could get to it. But I've found something 4wd instead so I think this may be much more suitable for the snow and the potholes that quickly ensue.

Much more fact than fiction. Did much research on it and even saw the test completed on youtube.

Went to high school with a guy that rolled one at 35, in the dry.

Was he trying to do a J-Turn or something? I really think there is more to that story. In the video that do emergency lane changes at 55mph and nothing happens. Nothing but the typical lean of a high roof vehicle that's not really meant for the street and better suited off road. Thanks for the heads up regardless though.

Nope, to be fair though, he walked away unscathed.

Sent them a text tonight. I'll call tomorrow. I'll offer $1600 so we may end up settling at $1700 but that's a steal for any one owner vehicle that's 4wd, driven a little more thatn 10k miles a year and is a MANUAL .

Never had experience with one of these, but my 1990 Isuzu pickup was as tough as a pig's nose, and until age-related issues began was very reliable. Only downside was that parts were expensive and a little hard to find. Wish I still had it. This sounds like a bargain.
