I've seen plenty on Fieros with 3800 Series II swaps and 4.9 Northstar swaps. And those are amazing. But a 383? In a damn Fiero? I don't care how unsafe it probably is. That's incredible.

I would think SBC swaps would be more common than Northstar swaps, or is it because of the difficulty of finding a transmission?

I don't know, I've seen a lot more Northstar swaps. Actually haven't seen too many SBC swaps, and even those were usually a 350, not a 383.

You need a FWD transmission in the back with the engine, unless you do something drastic. I can't imagine a FWD slushbox with an SBC bellhousing that can handle a built 383, although the car doesn't weigh very much.

That's not even the nuttiest Fiero out there.

You're looking at a 7.0L LS7 V8 with an Edlebrock E-Force supercharger bolted on top for good measure. Output is estimated to be HOLYFUCK hp and JESUSCHRIST lb./ft. of torque.
