I have to say this is very well designed. My only tiny critiques would be (1) the pod in the middle of the dash just to the right is oddly integrated but I get why it's there as a practical matter and (2) I would have moved the suspension setting, start, and mode buttons/switches to the dash to unclutter the wheel (but I understand why they are there as well - except the buyers of this are are not, for the most part, F1 drivers in reality). Also, why is there a CD player in the glovebox? Seems like a waste of weight.
I didn't drive it despite it being offered to me all day. Nothing good could come of that.

The stereo is in the glovebox? Does it have steering wheel controls for that too or something?

I think the stereo controls are through the knob in the center thing. But you load CDs in the glovebox. When was the last time I put a CD into a car stereo? Answer: since I've lived in Cali (about 8 years), never.

Ah okay. I actually load CDs all of the time, I dont have an aux input so I make a new CD every couple weeks which means I have a ton of them in the car. That wouldnt be a problem if I had a ferrari though...

I'm inclined to beleive that the CD player is probably an optional extra. It does seem like a waste of weight and space.

Yeah I have one but the quality ended up being pretty crappy so I stopped using it. I'm looking into wiring in an aux port when I get the time, it's apparently fairly easy.

From the few I have seen or sat in, McLaren sure makes a good interior. I prefer bare-bones.
Pretty sure I would be looking for a turn signal stalk for at least the first 3 months of Ferrari ownership.

Does your car have a tape cassette player? You should get a cassette aux adapter.

Na it doesn't. Slightly too new to have a tape player and slightly too old to have a usb or aux...

That's looks pretty nice. The seats in the 458 were surprisingly comfy - better than the 550 I think.
I feel the same way about the turn indicator, although I also own an older car with the stalk on the wrong side. Normally you do some stupid things (i.e. hit the wrong switch) for about the first 4 turns then it's all fine. But, like, every drive for the past 2 years has been that way.

To be fair it's at least a decent quality stereo and blank CDs are cheap.

True, and when the song trips over you can at least feel like a DJ.
