My uncle is a recruiter for tech companies, the kind that constantly spam you on linkedin and shit like that.
apparently this tuner company called superchips needs an entry level embedded systems programmer and they're based out of the next city over. i'm going to graduate in like 2 weeks
guys i am so fucking excited at the idea of writing software for tuners. this is dream job level shit in my backyard. full benefits, but below average salary, but apparently you can use the workshop on the weekends and get your ecu remapped since fuck it you work there

My uncle works at Campbell's soup and my dad works in high-level intelligence communications for the military and its contractors, so I got that going for me, which is nice. (I'm going to school for brand management and effective advertising with a focus in automotive branding.)

Also, I meant to say congratulations and good luck. I hope it works out for you. It's weird how life can be so shitty and then drop a great gift of an opportunity in your lap. From a similar perspective, I can't say enough how excited I would be if I was in your shoes. And congratulations on graduation!

Haha, I just thought of this. I should totally become a US based telemarketer and pretend to be a non Us. Based telemarketer and chance my voice ever so often.

Wow sounds like a cool first job. Don't worry about money until you have spouse and kids!
