My family counselor/psychiatrist (another family member's, I see him just because it's healthy,) who is a very wise and deep-thinking man, has told me to see that movie, and told, me that "those people exist, believe it or not."

I wasn't going 'that's it' cuz it was two and a half hours long.
At the end when he and his sister were in the kitchen. I thought they were going to plot to actually kill her... Too bad.

I also didn't like how home girl just shows back up and nobody questions it. They had the detective chick play skeptical but they never pressed her and basically just when all ¯\_()_/¯ shes home.

'Average college student?' Not average. Very 'boring person' actually, in terms of the under 25 crowd. I'm a musician. I'm consider myself a stable and disciplined person, being the eldest of five. Just sometimes paranoid and tense. I don't want to be more paranoid, but at the same time, I don't want the movie to be ruined for me. Ah.
My go-to recovery method to something creepy: Hot shower, ice tea, and a drive through my town with the windows down howling to my favorite music.
I don't normally subject myself to the mind-fuck/creepy movie. Ever.
But everyone's telling me to see it.
