Here's a !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I stumbled across with useful information and available modifications for the Cologne 4.0. A tuneup, K&N filter, intake, headers, and cam would really wake things up when you have money for modifications (probably).

Except I dont have a cologne, I have a pushrod V6. Its not SOHC. But there are some things on that site that can help, thanks

You do have a Cologne V6. The SOHC was only a derivative of the Cologne which is typically a pushrod engine, as with the 4.0 in the second gen ranger. Starting in 1998, the SOHC cologne was introduced to the third gen ranger using a different head design than the pushrod variant that preceded it.
