Apparently, it's not too early for Christmas. So since the Christmas music is being played and the black Fridays ads are being broadcasted, I humbly submit this as a more modern replacement for Santa's old whip, purely because it is the correct color scheme, and it's a big wagon with plenty of space. And now, my Jewish self is going to stop making Xmas references, and talk about how much I love this !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I love it. A lot. This is one of those cars where I won't bother telling you about the 322 Nailhead V8's performance, or the long list of standard features like power steering. Instead, I will simply state that it is awesome. It's beautiful. It's in great shape, but not 100% perfect, because then it would be a museum piece. It has a couple barely-perceivable imperfections just so that you might be comfortable actually driving it. This way, you get to enjoy the car more, and also let other cars lovers bask in its glory. It costs $35,000. Or $39,000 depending on where you look. It is worth it. For some reason I am going to ask if you agree with me or not.

Agreed. The only thing cooler might be a Chrysler Woody wagon, but not by much. Would love to drive that thing around the block. Totally worth it. NP.

The price is fair.

CP - its a 4 door wagon, if it was a 2 door maybe. I can see some interior work it will need right off the bat.

Did they ever make this as a 2 door wagon?

NP. I happen to like the woody a bit more, but nice price.

hmm it doesn't look like, I thought they would since Chevy did, though in 1957 they did make a 4 door hardtop wagon

Agree. 4 portholes. Much power.

Yup, that's the Caballero. It commands a sum of money far, far greater than this.

That's the thing about these cars - you probably want to have it appraised before plunking down more than 10 grand. Is it worth 60, 30, 15K? Difficult to tell before you have to sink money into it.

True but this is the general area for a car of this era in a restored condition. It is less than it cost to get it to this point I'm sure.

Good point - there are so many lovingly restored cars that owners wind up selling for less than they have in them.

Yeah. The market just isn't there for huge profits on obscure less 'desired' offerings.
