What would you get? Pick whatever you want, a hatch, sedan, CUV, SUV. Has to be under $350 a month with $0 down.

This is hard to beat:

Got nothing constructive to add, so here's a pretty picture instead.

Golf GTI, 324/mo. $2500 due at signing though.

The zero down is the kicker. I'm finding stuff I'd love to lease that's under that price, but all of them require a down payment. Only thing I could find that I might like is a base model (literally zero options) ATS. I couldn't even get a Golf GTI for that much without any money down.

Accord Sport. Or Optima.

That's fine. Just didn't want people putting $10K down to get under $350 a month. It's normal to have $2000-4000 due at signing.

Lots of great options there. Tiguan for $279 a month.

Except that driving a CX-5 will drive you batty. One of the worst cars I have ever driven.

Actually. I would rather walk than drive a CX-5. Distance irrelevant.

Really? They have good reviews.. Can you elaborate?

BMW has a few options... X1 and 320i for $279/month, 228i for $319/month or even a 328i for 329/month. All of them are 39-month (just like the CX-5) and about $3700 due at signing.

I'd personally would take the 320i.

Slow, no acceleration, I hated the super light steering feel, crappy interior, felt unstable on the road at any speed with really soft suspension, all in all a horrible drive and the only car I have been truly afraid of. I like the Subarus though even though we ended up with an X1 (which I think is outside of your budget). I also liked the Ford Escape but canned it for bad crash test score (partial front impact).

Actually scratch that. X1 for $279. It's a fun car to drive. Maybe a bit much up front though.

Good thread. I can't find a lease deal on one, but I am pretty sure I could find a 4dr GTI Autobahn edition for that much.

Another excellent choice. The non Autobahn GTI is at $324 a month right now. Which kind of seems a little high considering GTI's hold their value pretty well.
