So my sister left some food in my car. Monday. And I just found it today, and now the MurderSofa smells like a goddamn dumpster. Fantastic.
Also on the agenda: JB weld one of the door panel mounts back into place (lol brittle plastic), track down the source of a really annoying rattle in both doors, diagnose possible faulty connection to the dashboard.
I will probably get 0 of those done.

At least it isn't summer.

Leave orange peels, or a bowl of baking soda or coffee grounds to get rid of the stank. Just don't ride around with a bowl of baking soda, it looks like cocaine and other students in the campus parking deck thought that my car was bought with drug money.

Try forgetting pears in your glovebox for a week and have the A/C dissipate that wonderful smell throughout the car.

This is not a problem where I live. I left a box of frozen beef pot pies (lunches at work) on my passenger seat for most of the week because I wanted them to stay frozen.

Went to dinner with a friend, he drove. He thought he was clever putting leftovers in his (covered) center console. And then he forgot about them.
A few weeks later he called and said he'd just finished cleaning out the "chili compartment" of his car. I was, fortunately, spared that particular smell.

I'm gagging imagining that smell.
