1) Fill a saucepan with a few inches of water.
2) Grab two eggs from the fridge.
3) Proceed to drop an egg inside the fridge.
4) Place remaining egg inside saucepan.
5) Grab numerous tissues and towels in an attempt to stem the flow of broken egg and shell.
6) Panic as egg flows underneath fridge trays and down into the seals.
7) Panic some more as you open the freezer door to clean the seals, allowing more egg to flow into the freezer.
8) Close fridge and freezer doors, regain composure.
9) Prepare a sponge with some soapy water.
10) Open fridge and freezer doors. Proceed to wipe away the egg.
11) Watch as the apartment door opens.
12) Explain to your parents, who have just arrived home, why there is egg and water all over the fridge and floor.
13) Don't make a poached egg because by the time you've finished cleaning up, it's dinner time.

Oh bollocks. I saw this post just before I went to the shop, and thought 'mmm, poached eggs, I must buy some eggs'. I just got back in, saw it again, and realised that I remembered to buy spring onions, but forgot all about the eggs. And looking at it a third time, I just realised that's not chopped spring onion scattered on top.

That's hilarious! Nothing worse than cleaning up raw egg messes.
