Do I or do I not confront the girl who did !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to my car?
!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!
Should I be that guy ?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:57 |
|
YES you do.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:57 |
|
Then what?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 15:59 |
|
If she hit your car she should pay what it'd cost to fix it. Simple as that.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:00 |
|
Yes, what the fuck do you owe her?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:01 |
|
Okay, makes sense. I'll talk to her about it
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:02 |
|
You're right!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:03 |
|
FUUUUUUUUUUUUCK YEAH!!!!!!!!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:03 |
|
I'm all for being nice and such, but if someone damages your property/vehicle/stuff... you have every right to be a bitch and make them pay for repairs.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:04 |
|
If she's really poor/broke she should help you fix it. But since she's driving a new(ish) Honda I can't imagine she's THAT poor.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:04 |
|
:) I WILL!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:05 |
|
CORRECT! I like your logic ;)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:06 |
|
She got it last year (and it's fully loaded!) and I go to a $10k per year school, so....
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:11 |
|
So a 2013 Civic then. She can pay, she can afford it.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:12 |
|
SHE WILL PAY
*CUE EVIL VILLAIN LAUGH*
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:13 |
|
It is not the thing, it is but the principle of the thing. Do you feel wronged? Do you care about not being wronged in the future?
Accountability is a character trait that the general populace lacks. I would raise absolute hell until I received either insurance compensation of some sort of payment to resolve the repair of your car.
Chivalry be damned, the modern woman wants to be treated like an equal, so be it.
There can be only one!!!!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:13 |
|
Just one small thing, she DOES drive a 2013 civic right? I'm not being a fool of all fools here now?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:15 |
|
Well, the office lady already asked her about it and she denied it... AKA LIED ABOUT IT!
SCREW HER, I'M GETTING MY CAR FIXED
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:15 |
|
Yeah, it's either a 12 or a 13 civic
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:16 |
|
Yep, do it. She should have left you a note in the first place.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:17 |
|
Yes you should be that guy. It was a hit-and-run on company property . You need to do it sooner than later in case she has the damage repaired or cleans off the red paint.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:18 |
|
Yes, do (calmly, professionally, and firmly) confront her. Because the paint is on her bumper now, and might not be in even another day, now that she knows she's been found out. It's not a buff-out sratch/scrape and will require actual time, money, and materials for which she is entirely responsible. If she doesn't like that, she has an easy solution: stop driving around and running in to things that don't belong to her.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:21 |
|
YES! Go get justice!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:23 |
|
I say go totally passive-agressive. Show up to her place wearing a new t-shirt, and ask if she knows about your car.
Girls love passive-agressiveness.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:23 |
|
I would have called the cops immediately.

Rage gif dump complete all is well

Eh, had a similar experience with my S10 back in college...Tracked the girl down, ended up with a check for a repair.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 16:45 |
|
Nobody is asking the important question here! Is she cute? If so, confront her in a nice way and make some magic happen, for both your car and yourself.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:25 |
|
I confronted her... and she denied it. I'm not sure whether or not to believe her now... and besides that, my parents told me to stop worrying about it ;(
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:27 |
|
What is awkward is that all of the paint came off of HER car... and I was able to just rub it off of my car! All (almost) is good with the world!
Anyways, she doesn't know that I have photos of her front bumper with red paint on it >:)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:28 |
|
Your parents have good advice to stop worrying about it. Life goes on.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:30 |
|
What is weird is that she denied it again...
but the bumper on my car is fine :S I don't know how, but the only thing that happened was that her paint came off on my bumper, and I was able to just rub it off with a damp cloth towel! It looks good as new now! (and that's not saying much)
BTW I also compared the silver color to the paint on our 2014 Honda Oddysee and it was a dead on match! She has the only newish Alabaster Silver Honda at the school ;)
I'm just not going to worry about it now
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:32 |
|
I asked her, and she denied it again... LOL I SHOULD ASK HER ABOUT THE STORY OF THE DENIAL OF PETER! (since I go to a Christian school, don't blame me, I just like it because most people get along well)
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:32 |

???f
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:33 |
|
That was how I felt...
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:34 |
|
This girl is either innocent, or a pathological liar... she denied it twice!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:37 |
|
That and the car is fine! Some minor scuffs, but other than that it is perfectly fine!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:40 |
|
Glad to hear it's fine.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:43 |
|
I'm still slightly angry though... seriously people? You hit my car and don't leave ANYTHING?! DAFUQ?
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:45 |
|
Unfortunately, some people are that way.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:47 |
|
hard to tell if its dented or if its the other car's paint on yours, or your paint scratched away to show primer/plastic.
in any case, if youre still in the location, you should at least get her information.
if she's broke, that's what insurance is for.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 17:47 |
|
If it rubbed off, at least you caught a break. Make note though, she's a dangerous combo of clueless and dishonest. Hope your weekend goes better!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:19 |
|
This happened around 2 days ago, I confronted her at school, she denied it twice, I don't feel like dealing with her again for now
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:19 |
|
I HOPE!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:29 |
|
Yeah. That guy who holds people accountable for damaging their property. What a party pooper!
Do it!
Tell her you have proof that she fucked up your car. Ask her for her insurance info.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:33 |
|
I have proof. I confronted her. She maintained her position. I think I have put the fear of God into her! However, it didn't actually do any damage to my car, rather it did more damage to her front bumper actually! All the stuff on the bumper is just her paint! It rubbed off with a damp cloth dish towel :P All is good!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:35 |
|
Yay!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 18:35 |
|
I know!
![]() 11/21/2014 at 20:00 |
|
Shouldn't that come out with a power buffer? If so, no need to call a body shop.
No harm, no foul then.
![]() 11/21/2014 at 20:15 |
|
Yeah, all but about a 1x4 inch section came off with no damage to the paint... the only damage was a scratch on the 1x4 area. None of my paint really came all the way off though!
![]() 11/24/2014 at 08:21 |

That will buff out. Start with a soft rag and a can of Bug & Tar remover. Follow that up with another clean rag and your choice of wax.
