I would make a cool courier service truck, too.

I think I can be your hero for the day without saving that thing. See this German Ebay listing .

oh that green on green. If that was a standard with roll up windows, I would be tempted for sure. Gasoline even better. Very pretty for sure. Great shape for the miles as well

I see Citroen HYs all over the place (the internet, that is), but I haven't even heard of this. Have a model name or anything?

I am pretty sure it is a 4DA, though I only know the xOx cars really, the vans are a different bag

haha reminds me of a few E3 BMW's I have seen with power drivers window only. Everyone else had to use the cranks. Man I love this w123. I have really been digging around quite a bit.

Ebay is a gift that keeps on giving. Green on green w124 wagon (230TE), manual transmission, manual windows front and back, hubcaps, gasoline engine. One downside: first registration August 1990, some damage to the driver seat.

If only E30 Tourings were this easy...

I have seen a patch fix for that bolster wear (kind of like elbow patches), and it looks ok. I am not hard on the bolsters so it would be nice to have an intact set. I am pretty sure import goes by the build date, but I would still be a little off on that one. Damn, and malachite is my #1 paint color too

Seems a little high for what it is. Nice starter for some kind of service vehicle.

oh yeah half that would be doable if it has an engine

Well, it might be possible to source a different seat.

I know it goes by build date, but it's impossible to tell the actual build date from an ad like this. From my two E30 Tourings my experience is that there's less than 1 month difference between build and registration, but n=2 isn't reliable and I have seen vehicles that had a 2 year gap.

This one is still the perfect one for you though.

that interior style I think came out in 1990, so it would totally be a crapshoot, but I bet it is april 1990 or so. Argh stupid import laws! I see a few sportline w124's but those are 91+

thanks for keeping your eyes out though, we should settle some things before Jan 1 as far as your compensation to go peek at a few cars for me and drop it at the dock. I could probably draw up an escrow account by then too and stock it with some cash in case something comes up on ebay or local to you. We'll figure it out very soon

Titling it would be easy, here. I can do it on a bill of sale only, if it's over 35 years old.

Looking back I prefer the one I added to my previous reply after, I assume, you read it. It just looks pristine and it looks like an utter base model, which is what, in my interpretation, you're looking for. An added bonus is that it's located relatively convenient (180 km one way).

oh yeah that was the one on the marketplace.nl or what site you sent me before (I still have the link up on my chromebook, was looking at it last night. I love that thing, but it puts me at 6,000+ all in to get it over, which I have, but might be a little higher than I wanted to spend till I start raking in the new paychecks! Damn clean car though.
