So backing out of a parking spot at tech, I may have backed into a parked car slightly. It was very low speed and there was no damage to either car, so I figured it was fine for me to go ahead and leave. Was that a bad idea, should I have waited around for the owner?
First accident involving another car: check.
God dammit. At least my first one was limited to a tree and I wasn't driving.
I was kinda surprised the Hyundai Tucson I hit didn't sustain any damage on their plastic bumper from my solid steel one. I'm glad it didn't though.
Here I was making sure I didn't back into the Silverado parked next to it, which would've been more likely for me to hit. I'm angry at myself for letting it happen. The parking lot where I was parked it kinda cramped though.

Leave a note, but take a picture of the area to keep them from making it worse and blaming you.

This. To doubly cover your ass photograph your note next to where you hit the car and/or it's license plate so the other driver can't claim the photos are of another car.

Should definitely have taken pictures if there was no damage.
If someone seen it, got your plate and then they did dmg to it themselves, just about any court would probably find you guilty even though you were not. Cover your own ass.
