Looks like i've been greyed out because I don't drink the flavor aid.

I've been commenting here for years, yes I'm not always cool with them but most of my comments always end up at the top.

Well, today, they greyed me out.

They should change their slogan to " comment free and die"

Unfortunately as Jalopnik has grown, they seem to be pushing out some of the senior members. I don't know why, but they seem to want to crack down on the regulars instead of actually monitoring the drive-by burners.

Have you actually been unfollowed? Or are your comments just coming up grey? Kinja has been having lots of issues lately, so unless you are actually unfollowed it could just be a bug.

I dunno. I've never been ungrey on Jalopnik but I was mysteriously grey elsewhere on the network today in spite of not being unfollowed. It might legitimately be an issue.

It doesn't always leave a notification. I get them for the subblogs, but never main blogs. Never got one for the FP or Jez, but I did get notifications for Oppo, GT, Car Buying, Truck Yeah, FA, etc.

I had a Volvo 850 that I will always, ALWAYS willingly insult, have in the past and no gray outs yet, though it did ruffle a few fanboys.

I’m honestly not surprised. Both you and I are very opinionated, to the point of disagreement from time to time. That being said, when you don’t drink the far left liberal juice, you get thrown from the boat.

Furthermore, Oppo might as well be a dead forest now, as nobody goes. As Jalopnik pushes their liberal militarized spin on everything, promoting autos, and gaining only more web presence to take the very essence away from driving, they in turn alienate the actual enthusiasts who truly love to just get out there and drive, in return for the wannabe enthusiasts who like the image attached to owning a “cool car”.

Jalopnik used to be my favorite place on the net. Now it’s the place that I actually feel pity for. Lackluster content, lackluster columnists, lackluster ideas, and lackluster consumer relations, all feed their overwhelmingly inflated egos.
