The top 5 in 2013 was:

BMW: 1.66 million sales

Audi: 1.59 million sales

Mercedes: 1.47 million sales

Lexus: 523,000 sales

Jaguar/Land Rover: 425,000 sales

I wonder if JLR shouldn't be counted as two standalone brands, and if Cadillac will replace JLR in the next few years, in the top 5. Anyways, the first brand that will steal enough buyers from the others, to crack the 1 million mark, will be the brand to change the German establishment, even if volumes aren't the first thing that comes to one's mind when it hears about premium brands.

Jaguar and Land Rover should be grouped together, because Jaguar is the only brand out of all of those that doesn't sell SUVs, and Land Rover is the only brand out of all of those that doesn't sell Sedans.

And what is this? A birthday cake?

Kinja'd!!!

Jaguar will build a SUV, and will be successful, and they will build another, and another, just like everybody else did.

I'm surprised that Infiniti isn't higher, they have a lot of SUV's.

Infiniti sell almost nothing in the UK after years of trying so yes. It's occurred to them recently that offering product that has some relevance to its intended market - i.e. not vehicles designed for America - might go better for them so that might change somewhat. Or maybe not, as Lexus haven't got anywhere either.
