So... it turn out my radiator was pretty much empty and it was my water pump begging for coolant. Which also explains my poor heater performance. So yeah, oops.
The radiator really needs to be flushed, the water was brown.

That ticking sound you hear is the countdown timer on a head gasket.

Curse this era of GM, bestowing the hallowed SS badge to any FWD V6 with ~30% more 'Get up and go'. Curse this to the deepest bowels of hell. This act will forever be known as the second worst thing 'Old GM' ever did.

I still like these.

There's a sedan version in the correct blue for sale near me, secretly really want.

I had a massive thing for these (not necessarily the SS) at the time. I still find them to be a better looking alternative to the sedan and very functional.

Closest thing we've ever gotten to a modern Malibu wagon.

The basics were good. The chassis was reasonable, the motor (3.5 non-ss) was not bad at all and the mileage was good. The interior was horrific and the front end needed some tweaking but it was a likeable little thing. I loved them.
A friend of mine, a year or two back, picked up a loaded white 2004 model that had less than 10k on the odo. Some older lady had had it. He is still driving it. 65K no issues.

Don't tempt me man.
DON'T TEMPT ME.
Oh god I need a new car so bad. I was hoping so badly it was my transmission or something else that would've been expensive to fix. But no, the car will not die.

problem with a chevy: It isn't dead yet!
use white sugar, it dissolves faster.
For best results, add when low on gas, then fill up right after (if van makes it to station to make it look like it just blew a thing.

I got a free, running but broken gas lawn mower and I was 14, what else was I supposed to do with it?

I mean, mowing your lawn could have been up there on the list. Then again, who actually wants to mow their lawn?

well I do mow it, but not with that lawn mower! :P
I've yet to try it on a car, but there are a few likely candidates in my school's parking lot

Oh trust me, there are in mine too. Like the girl with the Hummer H3 and the other one with the Acura ILX with pink fuzzy seat covers.
