I keep going with these click-baitey headlines – but I'm always afraid that someday someone will release a video featuring the exact same car and/or bike, and it really will be More Beautiful.

I know, I know - this is kind of a "Two Wheels Bad" kind of thing. But this bike was just incredible in person. Its sound was something else.

I'm a cinematographer, and I just wrapped up the edit on this short piece. The bike just looked great – and so did the rider. I was set on a Biltwell helmet, but now he's got me thinking about Bell.

You might remember my BMW e30 film from last month – now this is my first motorcycle film. My goal is to find more custom cars and bikes to feature.

Almost 100% it's a Bell Bullitt. Beautiful helmet for a very beautiful short piece of cinema.

You're improving: on the e30 film, I noticed the blacks weren't deep enough. Nothing in the film was as black as the bars above and below the footage. Don't know if that's an exposure thing or just contrast. This one has better blacks.

Thanks man - that was actually intentional in the e30 film. I crushed the blacks while color grading to give it a sort of vsco cam feel. As you can see, however, I didn't like it, so it's gone. Thanks for the feedback!

I'm really loving some of the new motorcycle material being put up on Jalopnik. Although I'm not a rider, I've always loved bikes. There's just something so raw about flying down a street with just an engine and two wheels attached to you.

Totally. I need to get another bike - but my most recent was an 81 XL185. Chopped it a bit and turned it from an enduro to a street tracker/cafe. Super light, torquey and I loved it.

Excellent mindset. I started on a Suzuki GS500, then had a 650 thumper before discovering the joy of the Airhead. Get something cheap and slow, ride the piss out of it for a year, then you're good to go. Have fun and welcome to the party!

Luckily, I live in Salt Lake City, and we have less of a DUI problem than in other areas. Plus I try to film on back roads in industrial areas around midnight - but I feel ya.
