I cant do the Cotton Eyed Joe anymore. I used to be good at it but I broke my foot doing it 4 years ago, then walked on it for ten months. That wasnt smart. Also Before I broke my foot I was a very good bowler, I averaged 250. Now Im lucky to bowl a 90.

Heel heel toe toe heel toe left right. One two three clap one two three clap. Then turn and repeat.

At least, that's how we did it in gym class.

I lost my rhythm when I broke my foot, that and my balance. If I dont wear the right shoes, I sometimes walk like Im drunk

I know it sucks. I either have to buy a western sole'd shoe or buy shoes expecting to take the liners out and put in orthotics.

Walking on your broken foot for 10 months makes me feel no sympathy, unfortunately. It makes me think of someone who bemoans that their check engine light came on because they went 60,000 miles without an oil change.

I was at summer camp in LA, I couldnt get medical attention until I got home. I wasnt even sure it was broken at that point, It was my first broken bone. By the time I got home, I had figured out a way to walk and my mom didnt believe me when I said it was broken. In the spring I started playing tennis again and I realized something was wrong, thats when I went to see a doctor. It was partially healed by then.

I'd have sued the camp for not having medical attendants. At the very least they should have a nurse that they would send you to that would refer to a hospital. Seems like a lot of negligence.

And, I mean, LA. It's not like you're in the fucking rocky mountains 5 hours from a hospital where they would have to fly you out.

It was one of Paul Newman's Charity Medical Camps. They had hospital grade medical care, the pool even had a wheelchair ramp. But I was only there for a week, they would have had to have me airlifted for an Xray, I would have missed 30% of camp. It was worth toughing it out. Also, It was technically in the Santa Monica Mountains. If you wanna check out the camp, here is their website
