So, here it is; my first Oppositelock review. It's of my family's 2006 Toyota Sienna. Enjoy!
(photos from internet because ours is currently covered in snow)
Exterior: 7/10
It looks...like a minivan. When we first got the van a few years ago, I hated the from end. To me, it looked like it had a weird smile and bugs eyes, but over the years the design grew on me. Now, I don't think it looks half-bad.
Interior: 6/10
Nothing special here, and from what I've seen, it is very similar to almost every other Toyota made in the mid-2000s. The dash layout is good, and everything is where it should be. The front and middle seats are nice, but the 3rd row seats are small and hard. They're only really suitable for small children.
Acceleration: 6.5/10
Sadly, our sienna came with a 3.3L, 230hp V6 engine, instead of the optional 266hp 3.5L V6. Despite this, the Sienna is no slouch and does a fine job hauling its weight. That said, it is far from fast. All the power is usable, and you never think that it could use more. Even in dry conditions, It'll spin the tires at only a 1/2 throttle when accelerating from a stop.
Braking: 6/10
I've only ever had to stomp on the brakes once, and it was okay . It stopped in a decent time, helped by the fact it was dry out. The ABS, thankfully, did its job just fine. The pedal travel is good, but the pedal fell is a bit spongy compared to our Acura 1.6el.
Ride: 7/10
It rides great, and it floats down the road. The only catch is that you can only appreciate the soft ride if you're sitting in the front or middle row seats. The back seats are really cramped, so it's kinda hard to enjoy the ride.
Handling: 3/10
Minivan.
Minivan=Body Roll.
Minivan+Speed=Body Roll+Dirty Underwear.
Enough said.
Gearbox: 5/10
Our van has has a 5-speed automatic transmission. It does a good job finding gears around town, and it revs nice and low on the highway. One thing, however, is that when you punch it, it takes a second or two to drop down a cog. This really hurts overall throttle response.
Toys: 3.5/10
It has cruise control. Air conditioning. An auxiliary jack. A radio. Nothing really modern, like Bluetooth or a built-in GPS. But then again, this isn't a ' Toys R Us', b ut actually a way to get there.
Audio: 6/10
The radio is a solid decent, and it has a nice interface. Engine sound isn't half bad either, as the V6 emits a satisfying growl (compared to, per se, an electric razor). Still, not bad.
Value: 7/10
If I remember correctly, we bought this van for around $17k, probably in the year 2009 or so. I find that to be a fair price, especially considering how much work it has done for us over the years, and how much it will probably continue to do.
Total: 57/100
Engine: 3.3L V6 (transverse)
Power: 230 hp/242 lb ft
Transmission: 5-speed automatic
0-60: 7.3s
Top speed: Depends how late we are for the soccer game
Drivetrain: FWD
Curb Weight: 4300 pounds
MPG: 17/23

I'd like to do this with my dad's car, but no one's going to take me seriously because I'm 18 and it's the only car I've ever driven haha.

My input is to convince your parents to sell it and buy a wagon.
If only EssExTee could be so grossly incandescent

My mom's got a fully loaded 2010 one, and it's super nice. I think the only option it's missing is the radar guided cruise control. It's got the leather, (fake) woodgrain on the armrests and radio surround, radar parking sensors, rear seat dvd player, an amazing JBL Synthesis billion-speaker sound system, and factory GPS/6-disc changer.
It's pretty much everything you've said. It's good at what it's designed for, which is hauling children, but a sporty car it is not.

Man, you gotta drive the 3.5 - It's a smooth sweet machine. Even in the Sienna it feels like I'm driving a race car every time I floor it. And whenever I get to drive that van, I do floor it, redlining. It sounds nice too.
