Project $300 Update: Un-alarmed, belching PS fluid, with no seat belt

Sums it up, really.

It took over an hour to untangle the alarm system from the car's main wiring harness. Whoever put the alarm in was a professional.

The PS leak is at the left seal on the rack itself. I'm going to try some Lucas Stop Leak for power steering systems - if that doesn't work I've been advised to replace the rack.

The driver's seat belt also has been either torn or cut, and probably should needs to be replaced.

Extra motivation to get it done, as we got snow up here during the overnight.
