As the weather warmed up a bit today (-10 deg C) !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! that popped off the other day. I took the car out for a spin to my dad's house to make sure all was well and it wouldn't pop off again.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

On the way there about 20 miles from my place the car starts to stutter like crazy and bucking like a wild bronco. It stalled on me twice before I could get to a part store. I figured it has to be a spark problem so like anything else start with the simple things first. So a new set of plugs it is.

In a true roadkill fashion I keep some tools in this car for situations like this. I grab my tools and get to work changing the plugs. take out the plugs and sure enough cyl #3 (pictured second from the right)the plug is completely fried and it was only in the head finger tight by the feel of it. Also it turns out that the plugs that were in there were not the right plugs for the car so that certainly did not help anything either.

I swap out the plugs the car fires right up and runs like a champ again. I love it when it's an easy fix.

The worst part is they were changed 10000 km's ago so I'm guessing it being the wrong plugs cause the issue the were probably the wrong temperature plug and running way too hot.

If you look at how clean the threads from the plug in Cyl #1 (second from left) you can see how new they really are. They were last changed in 2012.

Ouch, from free to $563.68 in not all that long. To be honest, I'd cut it off pretty soon if it keeps having problems.

$375.88 of that was wheels and tires. The car so far cost me about $150 in repairs and the rest was preventive maintenance.

Ah, Gotcha. Those Miata wheels were what was throwing me off. I thought they were a lot less than that, Haha.

I'm also thinking wrong plugs, last time I saw one of those was on a caravan that ran like crap, at college.
