A dark green NB miata drive by my house. The only people that I can think of that's crazy enough to drive a miata in a snowstorm are opponauts. Was it one of us?

That's not true really, I see 6 in town every year rolling around on snow tires. Then again, I live in Colorado, and we'll drive whatever we want in snow..one of my buddies is rolling in a 360 Modena this winter

Forgot to read your screen name, lol. There's someone I know in FoCo rolling in a Ferarri for the winter so you know where it is :P I don't even know what my fellow local OPPO's have for the winter

We still need to do that Bike ride. I'm taking the drive test today. This spring I'll have my dad's odyssey, I could come to you with my bike.

We do indeed, I've been wanting to hit up the more city part of Denver still too, though now the Single Speed is parked for winter of course, as is the Z, lol.

Indeed, I want to cover the Beetle..but it won't stop snowing long enough for the snow to melt off of the Beetle -.- I went and did some night offroading last night in the Yota, it was awesome, lol

A friend of mine has a 97 five speed Ford Ranger. Last Sunday we went night off-roading too. There was a point where we went full on Dukes of Hazard, all four wheels were off the ground. It was a blast. My friend has authorship. He posted about it somewhere on OPPO. Luckily we were on private property that he had access to, so I got to drive it. It was my third time driving stick I think I did pretty good

I'm rocking a Subaru Outback XT for now. I'm waiting to get winter tires on my C30, since it's not going to snow for a while after today.

I..think what I did might of been illegal, lol, I was giving a friend a ride to pick up his XJ because he locked his keys in it at the mall, and by some train tracks by the mall there were tire tracks up under I25 parrallel with the train tracks, but it was off road and super steep and full of rutts, and he was like "I've always wanted to try and get up that and see where it goes" so I did, lol. Then we went and got his XJ and both went and mobbed around, lol, only 2 harder parts were a very steep incline about 2 car lengths up, with a 3 foot rut along the side, and a 3-4 foot drop from some hills into a grassy field we went it..we just hit both fast enough for it to not matter though, lol

I was looking for a Forester XT or a Outback XT as a possible winter vehicle, but finding them in manual isn't that easy... but I found what I wanted more anyway in my 88' Yota :)

Not me! My dark green NB hasn't been driven since it started snowing. The GTX is right at home on the snow, though.

Yeah, it was all doable in 2wd in the Yota though, so nothing to hard, lol. We were trespassing so it was definitely not the most legal, haha. My friend knows the owners of ..well I guess both property's, he dated the daughter of the guy who owns the land the mall was on, and the other property was/is probably owned by his school, haha

The Ranger was a rearwheel drive as well. The bare-bones stock model,no power steering no AC no nothing. It's a ball of fun especially with studded tires in the rear

lol, I'm glad I have power steering, gonna be useful for trails :P I might delete the A/C on the Z over winter..considering it

i like no power steering. But that's me liking simple machines. You should delete the AC. You really don't need it

In the case of a truck that'll be hitting trails, I'd rather have it..for when my front tires are pinned between 2 rocks, lol. I've considered deleting the power steering on the Z, but I've yet to decide. The Beetle is fine without it as is. And yeah, I use A/C like twice a year here, lol.

I wonder what the z with no power steering would be like. If you do it be sure to get a non-power steering rack. Last thing you need is to ruin the steering column

Kinja'd!!! CPT Speedbump > Denver Is Stuck In The 90s

It'd be some very heavy steering, that's for sure, haha. I've driven it a few feet with the engine off (steering it into driveway) on the stock tires and it was pretty damn heavy. And with the current tire setup I can feel it's heavier with the engine and power steering on, so would be even harder now. I also have access to the Fastback when I want no power steering...only issue with that car is the lack of decent braking power
