Something I learned tonight is that driving with the top down on a cold night is the best. I had the heat blasting, a jacket and hat on, and just went for a cruise with a friend. It was actually quite toasty in this setup with the heat on and windows up. It was not that cold (around 30 degrees) but we were definitely getting some crazy looks haha. People that didn't know any better had to think we were nuts. But after that, I think I am doing top down all winter (unless of course it is raining/snowing). I always need an excuse to practice shifting more so I will be driving no matter how cold!

The first year I had my Miata I made sure to drive it top down at least once every month throughout the year. This is in Wisconsin, mind you. Including a particularly memorable night picking up my girlfriend from a bar. she was cold and made me give her my sweatshirt and I drove home without a shirt on. In December. Good times. I miss my Miata; enjoy yours!

I'm guessing you never got on the highway.
I've driven comfortables in the winter, but not with the windows up. I'm guessing it's still really cold. I'm not planning on driving my S2000 anytime soon.

nothing a sawzall can't fix! And yeah, I guess I should change my username now. But that seems weird for it to be anything else.

I hopped on the interstate for a bit and hit 70. It only started getting a little absurd like that but only really would have been bad if it was colder out. The rest of my drive never went above 50 really so it stayed damn hot in there really.

Haha I could definitely picture doing that and my girlfriend would surely do the same.

Hm, I might have to try it to see.
I've driven it in the rain before on the highway in like Sept/Oct. That was a lot of fun. It's so weird seeing the weather being cold, wet, and rainy, but being hot and dry in your car.
Until you come to a stop..

I guess I agree, I have been considering changing mine to "Jordan, the Mountaineer Man" because it has a better ring to it (to me at least) but I feel weird about changing the main part of my username.

I'm the same way. Ive even grown accustomed to the hebrew second portion, I have no idea what Im gonna do when I get my license. I'll be driving my parents' odyssey. I have some Ideas for the name change, but I really dont wanna lose the hebrew.

Literally one of the best things ever. Especially if there's snow on the ground or it is very lightly raining/snowing. So many confused looks.
BUT, only as long as you have a crazy good heater, which it sounds like you do .

I had a '73 mustang with the 351C (2bbl, station wagon spec - torque for days but ran out of breath around 4000 rpm)
I brought home a Christmas tree in the back seat of that car. It had a heater like the fires of hell
