Rides like the shocks are solid when empty, rides as smooth as my mom's Vue loaded down with wood in the back.
So 6'4" me was riding in the back of my dad's Silverado. Saying I didn't fit is an understatement. If he would've opted for a crew cab over an extended cab we wouldn't have had that issue. Though he probably wasn't thinking I'd be that tall in 10 years.
We can't burn wood in the fireplace yet because our liner thing has holes in it from lack of use for 6 years. So we have to have a guy come change it before we can use it :(

Who needs to burn firewood when you got family members?

One of my friends in high school had a Ram 3500 Mega Cab with helper springs in the back(air bags). He used the truck to tow a horse trailer every weekend(He put over 200k miles on it from the ages of 15-18, it was definitely used as a truck). Anyway, we went to a basketball game in it, and he forgot to let the air out of the springs. We hit a speed bump, and I was launched into the roof. Yes, I was wearing a seatbelt.

Trust me, that's nothing compared to a 3500 HD with airbags with a 34' trailer. you hit a bump and that is rockin'.

It sucked. Wasn't the first time I've been launched into the roof of the car. The first time hurt a lot worse. giggity.

Sorry, I laughed a little bit.
Glad you had a seatbelt on though.

It helped absolutely none. I just put that in there so I wouldn't have been accused of not wearing a seatbelt.

I've hit the roof multiple times. It seems to happen the most when I'm riding in my girlfriend's parent's Avenger and we go over train tracks.

My '79 (F-150) rides better with weight in the back

Some parts of trucks never seem to change.
It'd be interesting if Pickups adopt Air Bags like Semis use or some form of Magnetorheologic suspension.

Pullin' a hill and the turbo is just making noises that are glorious. We have a 2011 with the Duramax. And Bilstein shocks too.

Ram already has air suspension as an option. GM should use their MagRide on the truck as an option.

An F250 with a ton each of gravel and sand rides beautifully.

This was the exact truck I was carpooled in by a lunatic high-schooler. At one time, I returned pale home because of sheer fear that the drive gave me.
