Big-time. It could go anywhere and do anything, and now it rests in a junkyard. What car do you miss the most?

I miss my first car the most, as is often the case. I also miss my 91 Cherokee Limited 5 speed.

Not my car, but I miss my dad's top of the line 1999 Tahoe he bought to replace his stolen truck. Hands down the nicest vehicle my parents have ever owned and they traded it in to buy my dad's lifted work truck. Big mistake IMO. That could be because I most likely would have that as a first car instead of the van if we had kept it.

The Mini I had before my Focus ST

Kinja'd!!!

2010 MCS reflashed the ECU with a "stage 1" 93oct tune from Alta (nice little bump in power from a basically stock engine), swapped out the shocks for Koni FSDs (way better ride quality than OEM and handled just as nicely), gave it a CAI from Defenders of Speed (hilariously cheesy name, but it was one of the few true cold air intakes that pulled air from outside the engine bay, and it let me hear those sweet turbo noises :D), and added a short shift adaptor (basically an extension that attached to the bottom of the shifter stalk to shorten the throw, which are surprisingly long in the 2nd gen MINI). Very fun little car that got great mileage, and was a hoot to drive. The only down side was that it had a tiny back seat, and useless trunk (with the back seats up, when they were down it was actually pretty decent). So, after we bought a house, I wound up needing something larger if I was ever to haul things like stuff from Home Depot, or people with legs, and thus wound up with a Focus ST.

I am sure if I focused hard enough I could pick out others, but this one comes to mind the first, every time. Be nice to have the 21 window bus back for the monetary thing, be nice to have the ur-quattro back because it is rare, but this is the one I have the most attachment to. It was what I rolled off to college in, occasionally used as my off-off campus apartment and sex den when my asshole roommate was being a dick and I didn't want to have to punch him, my source of income delivering calzones at 3 in the morning racing my co workers 91 900 turbo around campus. So many memories

My old wrangler. It was a '95 2.5L 4cylinder with holes in the.... well holes in a few places. Some were welded up. I learned how to fix cars on that thing. It could pretty much do anything too. I finally got rid of it when on top of the large list of broken things, the brake lines exploded during a drive. I also learned how to get a vehicle home without brakes in that thing. I should have just fixed it, but I was so pissed at it at the time for how much was broken and how rusty it was.

Been there!... my brake lines rusted out on my wrangler, but I got it to my friends house without incident. It was pretty scary to think what would have happened if they had went out on a steep hill... We were lucky!

Oh no, it went on to a guy who was going to restore it. I just jumped it, the seatbelts didn't lock, and bashed the back of my neck into the roof.

I miss my 05 TJ Rubicon. That little black beauty took me everywhere. Heavy snowfall? Off to the trailhead to hike up and get freshies before anyone else. City shutting down because we have 4 plows for a city of 2 million? No problem!

And it could drift.

And it was a ragtop.

And it had torque for days.

I miss ole Julius.
