True, but they look the exactly the same and I couldn't find a decent picture of an actual Fiat Mirafiori diesel.

Seat 131 2500 Diesel, classic. That license plate is from 2000 and therefore not original. The hood on these cars were super looked after because they look cool (they had to design them like this so the diesel engine would fit, gasoline cars had a flat hood).

Yes, I remember them. They were popular as taxis once. No turbo so by modern standards they were slower than a very slow thing.

Yes, haha. My dad had a silver 1430 in pretty good shape (Mirafiori CL or Supermirafiori, can't remember) and a rusted out blue 2000 Supermirafiori, and planned to put the 2000 engine into the 1430. He also stripped an abandoned 1600 for parts. Very sad story, he let the project sit for so long that the towtruck showed up and took the 2000 to the scrapyard, with a ton of 131 parts and a set of stunning Targa rims inside the car. All because the car had no plates in it, and was technically in a public place.
