Yes! It is a rocket! Crazy acceleration.
Euro delivery. Though, we order more Volvo Euro deliveries than Merc here. So many more options that can be had with Volvo only if you do Euro delivery.

It is very nice. I like how most AMG Mercs now have copied Lexus in the exhaust tips not being connected to the actual exhaust. I have asked both Lexus and Merc higher ups about this and they both tell me it's a turbulence issue if they were actually connected. Seems odd but i'll take their word

This tiny corner where the bumper/hood/headlight intersect bothers me. Otherwise I love any and everything about this car.

lol it's cool. No we don't but I used to work at one. So many people gave Lexus crap about that but when Merc does it nobody says anything.

But is it any faster than a 221 S65? I think this is the only one we haven't had in yet. Plenty of 231 SL65's, S63's, etc. But none of these...

That disconnection between actual exhaust and exhaust tips bothers me too!
Idk about turbulence, other manufacturers seem to pull it off without issue.
Not saying that turbulence isn't a possible cause, I just don't believe that Merc and Lexus cant/don't engineer around it.

I figured it was more a fit/finish concern than anything else. Once those exhaust hangers start to droop a little bit, the tips may not line up with the cutouts in the bumper, but if the tips are part of the bumpers, they don't need to be as exact and will have better looking fit.
