Every time I see some dickwad with an arrogant license plate, I just want to stop them and be, well, me (asshole) to them.
Like the guy I just saw driving a 2002 Acura MDX with the license plate "IINVST", which I would understand to be as I Invest; or in other words, look at how much better off I am than you because I have a "premium" brand car, which I have because I invest...
I just wanted to stop him and be like "apparently not too well". The plate might be warranted if it were on some expensive luxo-barge or supercar, but a 13 year old Acura that's worth as much as my tennis shoes and this used bubble gum that's inexplicably in my pocket... not so much buddy.
There is another one in my neighborhood with the plate "NVME" on a bright yellow Pontiac Sunfire. I take this plate to me envy me although it could have something to do with the fact that I live in Nevada (NV), but that's less likely. Why should I be envious of your defunct manufacturers badge engineered economy coupe?

My personalized plate generalizes that my 4Runner is in fact slow.
And yes, Florida does not center their plates. Also enjoy my shitty body work skills.

You're not an asshole.
The thing is, though, you've got to let it go. Don't let it rent space in your brain.
People are often assholes to each other. This is just a given. Some dude cuts you off in traffic, or tailgates you, or doesn't hold the door when you're literally two steps behind...
But you have no way of knowing what's happening in that person's head at that moment, what events led to them being there, what their intent and motivation are. Even when someone is clearly being rude, give them the leeway to do so, insofar as it doesn't allow you or anyone around you to come into harm. Don't let yourself get riled up by these people.
Think back to every bad day you've ever had. You're up in your own head, running over conversations and situations... And maybe you're driving angrily, or just proceeding thru your day with an air of "don't fuck with me". We all get that way, its human. It's best to just grant other people the privilege, and be content with your own actions.
.
Or chuck a chocolate shake out the window at their windshield. Fucker had it coming.

I'm pretty sure that makes you the dickwad, since the guy who thought a vanity plate was a fun way to personalize his car didn't do shit to you.

Same thing stands, man. People find ways to cope with their issues. It's impossible to understand their situations. And while you can't condone people acting like that, sometimes its just better to let them poison their own wells.
A friend once told me, "The best revenge is to just life a good life."

I laugh when I see this car in my neighborhood because I think what he is going for is "going ham" meaning going Hard As A Motherfucker of course. But it kinda just reads "go in him". Which is fine, too.

It definitely is slow. It'll at least do highway speeds. And it isn't nearly as much as a boat as the truck next to it.

I got a 22R that does highway speeds (provided that highway is a steep decline)

I've done 80... up a hill. As long as there isn't a headwind it'll do 90+, if you aren't paying attention. I don't have the balls to do it on purpose.
