!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

I know a very reputable shop that works on subies and i contacted the guy and it needs a head gasket and he thinks the AC compressor is making the knocking noise

Thoughts?

Depending on your income it could be a steal. Can you afford to replace anything to do with an a/c system and the head gasket? If so, yes.

it would be a winter car not a fun vehicle. Thats what my Miata is for.

Ac stuff i would just rip out cause dont need.

as long as the head gasket fix isn't too bad I'd go for it. It's so cheap even if you did lose money it wouldn't be the end of the world.
