HAd a bunch of stuff for the M5 show up yesterday. New BBS hex wrench for my center caps, BMW battery charger (since I'm not driving it very much now that winter/snow are officially here), new coolant level sensor and new BMW center cap stickers to replace the trashed ones that were on my BBS Style 5 winter wheels. I hadn't put the caps yet on the since the wheels were changed over because I wanted to clean them up and also have the BBS wrench to remove them with.

Battery charger was an awesome idea as I was worried about the battery running down from lack if use in the winter. When I checked this morning the green light was flashing which means that the battery was at 80% or higher. Was still red when I went to bed last night. Super easy to use too. Because the M5 is so old, the lighter socket always has power to it. All I do is plug one end into the wall and the other into the socket and it charges. Don't even need to pop the hood!

Also cleaned/rinsed the BBS center caps, removed the trashed roundels and replaced them with new ones. Here's a before and after pic:

I have spent way too much money on cars and drums this year. Picked these up in June. It's so expensive to have interests/hobbies.

M5 owner, and you're a fellow drummer. We're gonna get along just fine. I really want an electronic kit, it'd allow me to practice a lot more.

Yeah, it's pretty great. This is my third one. I was sick of upgrading constantly so I said fuck it and bought a high end one that's future-proof and expandable. It's great for all the different sounds and the fact the you can play anytime. Fairly portable as well, unlike my Pearl acoustic set. It really helps your time having a built-in click to play along with as well.

I have Pearls too. With a 2 year old in the house & neighbors nearby, I only get about 30 minutes on weekends to keep my chops up, if that. The electronic set would really help there. It's not enough, and it's been too damn long since I was gigging. Gotta change that.
