Is the car a '99 Si or SiR as our Canadian brethren call them? If so, eh that's okay with me though more than I'd care to spend.

P85 Crown Vic: $2,000
4 sick 26" rims: $6,000
lift kit: $1,000
Newport Lights paint job: $4,000
Looking like an abject moron to anybody that doesn't have a donk: priceless

I don't understand why people "tune" Civics... They'd be better off just buying a nicer car in the first place, instead of wasting money on mods that won't increase the resale value or the performance/cost

I don't understand rice mods, but the civic has decent engines.

I recently got a ride in a tuned civic that didn't even have a hood...
Because nothing could fit the turbo he had on it. 618whp was the number. Yet the fwd made it useless until higher speeds, which then the civic felt like it was going to fall apart. I still don't get the point of tuned civics.

That will never die.

That's hilarious and terrifying, 618 horsepower just on the front wheels? Congrats on surviving!

First thing I told the driver, "take no offense, but I don't want to die in a civic".
