My dad is going out to look at a 1979 Firebird Formula tonight and I can't go because I have a calc test. Damn it! I have so much more knowledge on these cars than he does but I can't go along. It's only asking $3500 and I believe I already own all the parts needed to finish the car (mostly interior, exterior trim pieces, etc.) since I changed everything on my '81 Trans Am to '78 style. You don't know how much I want another F-Body. Sadly it doesn't have the 400 because it's an auto trans :(

I know college problems like that. When I was 18 I was invited to JUDGE a classic car show.

I was out at school at the time 11 hours away and couldn't come home for it.

That sucked

Check the rear frame rails and bring a spot rot!

Good luck, I hope it works out.

Haha yeah. The seller says it spent most of its life in a garage... it's covered in the dust to prove it haha.

Yeah! I need a second car just so I have a place to use all of my spare parts that I've accumulated! It would give me an opportunity to use one of my spare sets of snowflake rims too! Look at that dust!

That's the same reason why I want to get a 6-Cyl and give it to one of my cousins for her first car. Use up ALL THE PARTS.

Be happy with yourself now, in a couple years when the car is sitting around half-finished due to class work keeping you from working on the car, you'll realize it's a blessing in disguise.
