That got awkward...
Have a picture with the new camera
They have a waiting list displayed on a monitor at Sprint. I noticed my name had disappeared. I approached the employee calling names and said hey, my name disappeared, what's the deal. He asks what I need and I tell him I need my phone activated. He says sure, let's do that right now
Hold on, I wasn't here first. I tell him to help the other people first but he doesn't listen. Other customers get pissed, I try to tell him to help them, I don't really mind waiting a little longer for you to help people that have been waiting. He continues to ignore me, so I just go with it. The other customers seemed furious. I got out in a hurry.
I might write a letter to Sprint. That was one of the craziest customer service experiences I've ever had. Sprint needs to get its shit together...

You just experienced why the customer service relationship is so awful. Squeaky wheel gets the grease. People who make a fuss get priority and quiet people get ignored. At the same time the only people customer service people feel like they talk to are the most obnoxious human beings alive.

It's the only way to know what's happening with the Sonic. You get a tach, speedo, highly annoying shift light, and a gas gauge. Everything else just has on a light coming on when something has gone wrong.

Dumb light. Hate them. I have to know the cars temperature even if I don't use it for the track. I love being able to know just everything that goes on with my car. Fortunately I can even check the oil temperature rise as I drive enthusiastically my Golf.

That's the thing, even just a little noise can be enough to set off fears of a blow up. I think you develop PTSD after working customer service long enough. That or you just become really jaded and cynical.
I'm sure you were fine and did everything right, they were probably just nervous.

Random question.. How do you like the RS? I have been contemplating going from an '08 Cooper Clubman to an 13-14-15 Sonic RS Hatch (Plus my dad works for GM.. DISCOUNTS!).

I like it a lot. Stock power is a bit disappointing but a tune livens it up. Handling is good.
The Fiesta ST is a better performer in every category, but I like the look and feel of the Sonic more

Did you get a manual or auto (I don't even know why I'm asking this since this IS Oppo, but I am...). I'm probably going to get the Auto because 1) convenience and 2) wife doesn't know how to drive a stick and refuses to learn (Ugh...).

Manual. I have no idea how it drives with an auto, but in fairness it's a good reason to get one over the competition: at least it has the option.
If I was in your shoes though I'd probably consider getting a new GTI with DSG, or a CPO GTI from a few years ago. That's not to disparage the Sonic, but it's worth exploring all your options.

True, I have been "car shopping" for about 8 months now.. I won't be getting one for another year or so (maybe a little longer), so I'm not in a HUGE hurry or anything. I'll check them out.. I love little hot hatches and I'm not a huge fan with where BMW is taking the Cooper brand so I'm looking around for something else.
