Last night cletus44 had a post asking what the !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! is. There were some good suggestions, but at least one glaring error. How did nobody bother to suggest the Lancia Stratos?

I honestly thought it had more power than that. I'm sorry, I failed.

The street version had 187 bhp. Rally versions had somewhere around 250 I think.

1976 Cadillac Eldorado with the 500 cubic inch V8 makes 190 hp. That is the best car, the most car you can get without going over 200 hp. Who cares if its fast if you're cruising around on a cloud and a La-Z-Boy recliner...

Kinja'd!!! BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest. > You can tell a Finn but you can't tell him much

And the turbo versions went up to nearly 500.

Not gonna lie. I'm a little disappointed with everyone who said FiST, BRZ, Miata. Those are good cars, great cars even but best ever? Better than a:
Porsche 356
1969 Porsche 911S

Austin Healey 100

Alfa Romeo Duetto

Autozam AZ-1

Alfa Romeo GTV

Datsun 240Z

1970 Nissan Skyline GT-R

Toyota 2000GT

Citroen SM

I mean the list is nearly endless. I mean would you really rather have a Fiesta ST over a 911S?

If you own of those modern cars then props to you. They're some of the best cars you can buy new. But me? Unlimited money? I'll take old junk any damn day.

I'm not a huge classics guy, but there are definitely some that deserve to come in well ahead of the new crop. Not that the new ones aren't good, it's just that there are so many interesting old low hp cars.

I wonder what the heaviest passenger car with <200 hp is. This must be in the running.

some of the vans in developing countries weigh multiple tons and make like 47 hp.
