Better packaging than flavor.
But then, I'm buying Kansas craft beer at a big grocery chain so it may not be exactly fresh.

Hardywood Park is one of our local breweries in Richmond, and their Gingerbread Stout is a limited time release. We waited in line for 3 hours to get some on Saturday. Perfect 100 score on Beer Advocate. Easily one of the greatest beers I've ever tasted.

Only 100 BA beer I've had was Deschutes Black Butte Porter. Not bad for a relatively cheap beer!!

Coors Banquet. The "best" cheap beer I've drank so far.

Some guys were on earlier talking some shit about Stone's collab chocolate chili stout called Xocoveza. I'm here to say "try it if you haven't, reconsider if you have" 'cause I would drink the hell out of it right now on the cusp of winter.
Anyway, drank a Traveler grapefruit tonight plus a Guinness Blonde plus a Yuengling plus an Edmund Fitzgerald because it's the 39th anniversary of the loss of 29 souls aboard the Fitz on Lake Superior back in 1975. The lake it is said never gives up her dead.

I'll have to try it if any of the bars around here end up carrying it. Hardywood is pretty popular in Charlottesville, and a Gingerbread Stout sounds quite interesting!

Currently: Whiskey (Glenlivet 18) because Japan and there's very few craft beers here.
But a month ago my parents brought 2 22oz of homebrew imperial pumpkin....oh so good.
When I'm back in the states I'll be sure to visit my local brewery, and also grab a pack of Lagunitas

Lagunitas you say? Too bad I'm assuming you're not gonna be back for a while cause they just came out with the Born Yesterday wet hop ale. And of course they didn't distribute to Utah...

I'll be back days before Christmas. I have my brother stock piling different beers, and my parents are saving a few from each home brew. I won't go without. I did have an IPA and pulled pork sandwich the other weekend, it wasn't anything compared to back home, but it holds me over.

I'm tired of waiting for my home brew to be done haha. I've easily spent an hour watching the airlock bubble and smelling it
