I absolutely love this song. One of Luke's best. Not as bro-country as some of his newer stuff. Those of us here in small backwater towns can probably relate pretty well to the song. Listen, and enjoy!

Yep, I loved this song in high school. Me and my friends would cruise some Alabama and Tennessee backroads to old Luke Bryan. Not much goes better than this song to the background noise of mud tires on gravel.

Can't get any better than that, man. I remember being so mad that I missed his concert here, back before he got really big. Small town fair concert, $10 tickets, but I didn't get a chance to go. I think that was back in 2007 or 2008. Now that's he's one of the biggest stars in the genre, I'll never get a chance like that again. One year it was him, the year before that was Jason Aldean, missed that one too.

But yes, some of the best music to drive to. No destination in particular, just a drive out in the country, that's always the best kind of drive to me.

When I was 16 he played a small show at the Princess Theater in Decatur, Alabama for $5. My Mom told me about it a week later. I also missed a Merle Haggard/Jamey Johnson concert because of her. I have seen Luke though, before his latest album came out. It was a really good concert. It was before he started using flames and FGL surpassed him in popularity, because they opened.

A good tune for sure.

I wish Country "Artists" would dump the Pop/Hip/Rap crossover wannabe crap and get back to the basics.

I hear you loud and clear on that. There is a reason it's called "country" music. It doesn't need spoken word lyrics, or a thumping bass. Some steel guitars and small town ideals are what it's about. It's intended to be simple, and easily relatable. That's the whole charm of the genre.

Exactly!

Over the last ten years (and more) I've heard some great breakout Country singers, songs and even albums. It seems like they all change once they go Big Time.
