When you panic when you hear a loud THUD while sitting at a stop light.

I still don't know what exactly I heard, but it sounded like someone dropping a bowling ball out of a 2nd story window onto concrete. Who knows, maybe what I heard was a bracket breaking that holds my transmission or something into place. Wouldn't surprise me honestly.

Who needs a new car? This guy right here.

Kinja'd!!!

Like a 530i. That sounds nice and German and even more unreliable.

It has aged rather well. Though the wheels looks so tiny.

True, but as long as they are in good condition I think it's okay.

What? What's wrong with those wheels? Go for any less sidewall like today's cars and you have to buy new rims every two years or so because 'natural conditions'... Steelies that you can pound back into shape or ridiculously low amounts of sidewall and rims that break instead of bend... I'll take the extra sidewall and steel wheels thanks very much!

Lol, you deserve a new car after putting up with the Safari.

I'm not saying put some 22s on there, but I'm guessing those are like 16 inch wheels, just go up and inch or two and I'd be happy.

From the hushed whispers and hints from my girlfriend, it sounds like I am getting one soon.

How did that thing pass inspection anyways?

It didn't. We had to change pretty much every component in the brake system for it to. It took THREE TRIES before they passed it.

Stock wheel is a 15", those do look to be 16 or 17 though. The 15 is just way too small. I have to agree with you.

16"s are fine, unless you are track racing and actually "need" less sidewall. My Volt has 17's and I'm always worried about them and dodging bumps in the road that I shouldn't have to worry about! More sidewall, less worry!!!

I feel you on that, not because my car has problems, but because my car is supposed to have problems.

You'd think Audis and BMWs having a stereotype of being problematic would stop me from looking at then to replace the Safari, but nope.
