SEMA is here and Hellaflush car is the latest fashion. The only question is: does than insane camber and grounded-to-the-ground appearance affect handling? I aim to find out using Live for Speed to make my own StanceNation racer.

I have a fucking Phenom II X2 @ 3ghz, 8GB RAM, and an HD7770. There is NO REASON for it to be lagging, even if it is at 1080p.

Turn your resolution down a notch or two, it does wonders for the framerate. Sure, I could play my games at 1920x1200, but 1600x1000 still looks fine and gives me much more consistency.

Yeah, I might drop it a bit, but when you're 26 inches away from a 42 inch TV it gets really annoying to be at anything other than native res

Yeah. Decent LG unit. Pretty awesome because it fills up my ENTIRE field of view with glorious simulationism. I need to get Project CARS or something a bit more modern, though.

This is semi related, but has anyone managed to use a Dualshock 4 controller for live for speed? I can't map the controls to save my life.

playstation controller support for windows is spotty at best as it is... You're much better off picking up a wired xb360 controller or Logitech controller for $20 and using that

that's the thing, I use DS4 tool, and at least for a ps4 controller, it tricks the computer into thinking its an x360 controller. Every other racing game plays well except for LFS.

Gaming controllers in Windows = finicky

Using workaround methods/tweaks to get unsupported gaming controllers to work in Windows as well as a supported one = HAHAHAHAHAHA

The more layers you add between the hardware and software the more likely it is something will screw up, and it's honestly easier to just throw $20 at the problem and get a controller specifically for PC usage, unfortunately.

When RCR became a thing my friends saw it and thought it was me. I don't hear the resemblance, but I guess it's there.
