The guys said that the pass front one with 12k miles is not repairable as is the rear pass one...
The one in front has pin holes everywhere (IDK how) and the rear one has so little tread that they aren't allowed to repair it per company policy... THIS SUCKS :(

You know what this means... PILOT SUPER SPORT TIME! On the real, though, that sucks. Look on the bright side and use it as an opportunity to get some decent performance tires. Pilot Super Sports and Bilstein coilovers have transformed my A3 TDI.

Looking at some 16" Audi wheels with Dunlop M3 winter tires right now... $400

Do whatever is necessary. Tires are so important ... they're the only pieces of your car directly in contact with the road. If you're lucky.

For all four? That sounds like a deal to me if I lived somewhere that had winter. LA FTW! Hope it works out for you

They are still usable, just have slow leaks. The one in the back I'm just leaving the nail in, and the one in the front I'm just going to keep airing up when needed for now.

Go to a Sears and look for "Manager's Specials", which are tires that no-one picked up and which can go for many tens of dollars off.
That or Amazon. Free shipping with Prime!

Yes, however, PSSs are crazy expensive for some cars. But they can be that good.
I've gone through 2 sets of PSSs on my BMW. $1000 a set installed. Which is insane. Except for the fact they are insanely great.
Same thing with the Mini. PSSs are $672 for the tires themselves, and I could get a set of Continential ExtremeContact DWs for $408.
For about the same cost as the PSSs for the Mini, I could get a set of Dunlop Direzza ZIIs ($608 for the set).

I avoid Sears like the plague (the effed up my mom's car and tried to hide it)
Amazon is actually not a bad idea

I didn't say to get the service at Sears, just the tires. You can get bad service at Walmart for less!

Fair point. However, when you factor in how much longer PSS last than most summer tires it becomes worth it for me. I got my 225/45/17 for $670 installed and now I have 7k on them. I'm about to rotate and I still have plenty tread on the fronts.
