Seems too low to be true...maybe the dealer doesn't realize the premium on 2001-2002 models?

Good info on M Coupe Buyers Guide too...check out previous listings section. Sounds like a good car at a steal of a price. AND it's local. Wish I could afford it/maintain it.

79,755 miles for $23,991 is not a good price.

In my experience, that motor will go forever, so that's a pretty good price

It's not the motor I'd be worried about, it's the rest of the BMW things that will BMW their way out of life.

That license plate is a lot newer than the car.

.. ... True, meaning it was originally registered in a different state? Not uncommon at all.

The mileage seems quite acceptable for a 13 year old car. Have you seen how much these things usually sell for? If you can find one in the first place...

BMWs being BMWs has already been factored in to the pricing of all these cars.

But then again, a dealer isn't going to give you a sweet deal because they love you. I'mcurious to know the real reason.

I found a few for sale, one joker was asking over $60K for one, a some were at Enthusiast Auto, where they charge way too much for everything, and they have less miles and are all in the $30k range. I still would never pay that much for a 13 year old BMW.

It's a shame it is the coupe. I have a 1999 convertible and loved that car. Always wondered what it would have been like with the ridiculous power they made in '01.

Maybe, which if it was driven in winter could be a bad thing. Or it could have been totaled.Or it was just on a vanity plate before. I always wonder, because sometimes its a tip that a car isn't as represented.

This thing is gonna be a future classic. I wouldn't buy it either. I wouldn't buy any BMW for that matter. But for those with the stomach for BMW ownership it's a good car for a good price. Put it like this. Where else are you going to get a car with RWD, over 300 OEM HP and IIRC less than 3,000lbs for $24K? Only other way I can see is to roll the dice on a 996 Carrera with its bulletproof M96 (that was sarcasm). Nothing else fits

You might be the only person in the history of ever who was sad that this is a coupe and not a convertible! The convertible is a great car, for sure - but the coupe is jalop catnip!

Yeah, I am one of those who looks at it and sees the "clown shoe" and not the limited run cool factor. I'm only half a jalop on this one.
