The majority of these are pretty much the same damn car. It's scary but kinda cool at the same time. I'm freaking out here.

They don't sell Chevrolet in Australia. Australia is a small market, why make so many different vehicles for just one market.

I know but it's so weird. I wasn't expecting this. It's understandable though.

I believe I've mentioned before that I want a Barina front clip

Kinja'd!!!

If I could get one for less than an arm and a leg I would 100% rebadge my car as a Holden Barina RS.

I wanna say someone here has rebadged their Buick as an Opel or a Vauxhall.

There are some cars that you would only need badges. Most need a wholly new bumper though. Like the Barina here, it's extremely similar, but the center of the grill is different

Kinja'd!!!

I can't just take out the bowtie, the bar between the upper and lower grill is molded around it.

On the back of the car though I just need a set of Holden badges.

Holden is a GM subsidiary.

We make the Chevy SS for you.

We also designed the Camaro.

You're welcome.

Yeah, that would be neat to do. Would confuse so many though. You'd have a "Holden" with LHD and a Chevy steering wheel!

I knew it was a subsidiary. I just never knew that aside from the SS, mostly everything was the same thing.

Pretty much, back in the old days there were more homegrown cars, also Vauxhalls and Opels rebadged too.

I'm surprised there aren't more Vauxhalls/Opels.

I think they're Buicks here,

Holden is basically Chevy, Opel/Vauxhall is Buick I think,

Oh, do they have Buick in Australia? The only GM brand where I live is Vauxhall, so I tend to forget about the rest.

(We've gotten a couple of Holdens here - well, different generations of the Monaro, anyway - and they're Vauxhall branded—though, of course, that doesn't really mean anything.)

For some reason the Holden Cruze looks 100x better than the Chevy Cruze.

Oh, right. Because they get the badass hatch and we don't.

How silly of me.
