Very nice.
EDIT: Thanks to Party-vi for correcting my initial incorrect identification of this car as a Jeepster Commando.

Wow, you're right. I didn't realize the CJ8 was that long.

You are a Jeep aficionado. Would you look at this post and let me know what you think? The price is a typo and is really $1200. I was thinking of offering $900 and settling on $950.

I’m worried about the new fenders and grille - the Comanche used the XJ unibody with rear frame rails, so a bad enough crash could have tweaked the front of the body. Check the door gaps and A pillar alignment when you go look at it, but I think $900 isn’t a bad asking price. The original transmission is a Peugeot BA10/5, which is a dog of a transmission (but hey mine lasted almost 300,000 miles). It also has a different pilot bearing and clutch cylinder design than the AX15 and AX5 transmissions that came with later Comanches and XJs. There’s a rebuilt BA10/5 on ebay for $825, but I would look into swapping in one of the Aisin transmissions (AX15 is more robust than the AX5). It’s a common swap and there are a ton of resources online about said swap.
The Renix 4.0L responds ok to simple upgrades, like bigger injectors and exhaust. Beware of rusty rocker panels and missing floor boards - pull back the carpet/vinyl or poke around the floors if you can.
