Friend of mine snapped this today, and was wondering what it is. Sorry for the lousy quality (he's one of those iPhone users (pre iPhone 6)). Definitely looks like some kind of kit car. I know one of you will know. Don't let me down OPPOs!

Powered by the legendary (that's the most overused word in the world) Chrysler 2.2 Turbo II. Only good thing about those pieces of junk.

This is how I think the design happened for this thing.
Warren got his team together, and it went like this:
"Team, I have an sexy, sleek design for a affordable sports car. I need you all to go source off she shelf parts for me; front and rear windscreen, door glass, door hinges, headlights, exterior lighting, power train, mirrors, etc... go get them and I'll incorporate them into the car.
Here is my concept"
(Team returns with parts, and Warren hits the roof when he sees the price of them)
"NO NO NO! There's no way I'm paying that kind of money for Corvette glass, Jaguar lamps, and Alfa tail lights. Don't come back until you find something affordable!
(Team returns, and Warren gets to work)

I loved reading that. Hadn't seen that one that I recall. I subscribed to motor trend, road and track and a few others all through the late 80's into early 2000's and that brought me right back to being a kid again.

It's weird to realize that my Ford Focus has more power than a 1991 Corvette
