These words excite me. Not wide enough for desktop, but maybe a phone wallpaper? Also, I think this is a triple carb blow-through setup, which makes it even more batshit insane.
It would have to be putting out at least 500-600HP, considering that the OS Giken heads are capable of 350HP on their own. At 1 bar of boost (easily possible with twin turbos, though not sure if the rest of the build could handle it) you'd be pushing 700 possibly. It's scary to think about.
Also, Lag City. But whatever.

nice, what year was that setup installed?

No idea, but I would guess mid-80s, back when OS Giken heads were available enough to do this, and before better FI systems would be around necessitating the switch to carbs. Likewise, that's a custom intake, and normally you'd use a RB26DETT intake (with the manifold adapted to the L28) for this. The swap alone, as well as the lack of the manifold, implies this is heavily pre-R32.
Nowadays, a setup like this is going to run you about $70,000 on top of the cost of the car, and it will be stuck in Japan for about a year while it's being built or you're waiting for parts to show up used that you can buy. There's really no cheaper way to get over 500HP on the stock block.
And people WONDER why LS swaps are so popular with these things...

Very cool. I've got a L28 engine and a LD28 diesel crank that I'm selling at the moment...3rd and 4th cars at age 17-18 were 240z and early 260. Aunt had a brown and gold 280zx that I loved. I remember talking to Brian Glidewell at Arizona Z car about his turbocharged 240 back in 1989 or so and he said it ran 11's... Which was really hoofing it back then. I remember being amazed at the hardcore parts they made including a tube frame, etc. etc.
