Gas, as I have learned, is able to leak out of PRETTY MUCH ANYWHERE.

Replaced a section of my fuel line because a quick-connect fitting had rotted a bit. Had to splice the piece in with a bayonet connector and some hose clamps. Got that bastard clamped down and...

Two days later my car smells like a god damned lawnmower.

I guess it's time to SLATHER the fucker in JB Weld and hope that fixes it. Worked on my lawnmower, go figure.

I would avoid this. Fuel will eat through many things and usually not allow adhesives to adhere properly. IIRC your fuel system operates at around 55psi, whereas your lawnmower might operate only on gravity. JB weld might turn a small leak into an atomizing super-soaker pointed right at some exhaust. Ask me how I know.
