Which one? lol The yellow one is affectionately called 'the beater' and is an awesome car (except when you want to go above 55 lol)

The Grey one is a 2006 Ram 2500 Megacab Cummins 4A

Fun truck to drive (ALL OF THE FUCKING TORQUE) Something like 500wtq I think

Hooray for red station wagons!

I really like the Jetta wagon – I was looking at them when my 850R showed up, and I'd still consider one if/when it comes time to replace it. I've driven a friend's lightly tuned manual Skoda Scout TDI (basically a Jetta wagon with AWD and a slight lift), and was very impressed at how much go it had. Definitely still want one, one day.

Planning on getting a Stage 2 tune and DPF and EGR delete eventually ;) 175WHP and 310WTQ!!! That would have some go!

Later I would upgrade to a CR170 (Euro TDI) Turbo since it is a direct bolt on ;) EVEN MOAR BOOST!!!

The ridiculous boost potential of Diesels does rather appeal. My 850R has definitely made me a forced-induction convert, but I'm a little scared of doing anything drastic to it – it's got 200,000mi on it, and as an R model, it already has MOAR BOOST. Honestly, I don't do anywhere near enough miles to justify a Diesel on fuel economy grounds, but I do love me some torque.

I don't know what kind of figures my friend's Skoda puts out, but I know that there's a DPF delete and a chip involved. Left quite the impression, I must say – if they make an AWD Jetta Wagon available here, I'd buy one in a snap.

If you are ever in the interest of burning money, Mercedes 190e cossie Evo II wheels. They might (maybe) fit. But they'll run you around 3 grand. Yikes. but per the Merc policy, you can get wheels that haven't been made in 10 years from your local dealer.

Mine: 2013 JSW TDI 6MT w/ ~29k mi on it. She'll probably be going in for an APR Stage I in the spring - I don't see much of a point right before winter. All I will do is tear up my snows.

*cough* Malone Stage 2 *cough*

But nice car though ;) I would lower it though, I wouldn't be able to stand that fender gap :(

But in the next year or so, I plan on a DPF *FIX* ('cause you can't legally remove them, which I *may or may not* be doing), EGR *FIX*, Malone Stage 2, 1" lowering springs and new shocks with front and rear anti-sway bars, 18" GTI Detroit's with 225/40R18's, GTI Grille and fogs, and *possibly* full turbo back exhaust. If I feel daring, I may change the turbo to a CR170 (Larger Euro model) turbo, which can be found used on eBay in Europe for $300-400.

The DPF would be a custom fab because $600 for a 2 foot piece of pipe is a rip off when you can do it yourself for $50, but it is all waiting until I have a job... lol

Have you enjoyed your JSW?

Love it so far! It's a great car. I was thinking AFE intake/exhaust (but there is the NOx sensor you have to cut after and weld in making it not quite a direct fit compared to the sedan) or a mufflerectomy. Need to counter that with the fact that I still have terrible NYS inspections to pass every year, so I can't go too crazy on the exhaust system.

The only reason I'm thinking APR over Malone is that there are local APR dealers but the nearest Malone guy is about a 4 hour drive. Lowering would be nice, but I live in a heavy snow area and am a first responder (just another reason for the panzer plate - no one knows what I will drive over, hahaha). The car is already too low to get my floor jack under.

The fender gap is a bit exacerbated in that image as I just finished putting the wheels on when I snapped it. They settled in a bit lower - the tire and rim diameter is a the same as the stock 18" option offered on any other mkVI. I looked at the detroits when I was shopping for wheels but opted for a knock off of the black rs3 rotor wheel. I was planning on doing shadowline trim too, but everything fits too well together now. The offset is bumped outwards a bit too so they look nice and wide from the rear and just peek out the fenders on the front. Still may black out the roof around the pano.

Fogs were super easy to add.

CR170 turbo would be a nice turbo - good setup for Malone stage III.
